About New Church, VA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

New Church, Virginia is a small town located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It, initially, was known as "Accomac Shire.” It was renamed Northampton County in 1642 but was then changed to Accomack County in 1663. The county and the original shire were named for the Accawmack Indians, who were the residents of the area when the English first discovered it. This celebration and acknowledgment of its local history and culture are what make all of the towns in this area so very charming.

Locals love to spend time together and locally owned establishments. It is this community spirit that makes this town so very special and unique. If you are looking for something tasty to eat in a welcoming and low-key environment then The B Hive Eatery on Rt. 13 is the place to be on the weekend. The restaurant serves fresh baked goods that are made with only premium ingredients. Freshly brewed coffees and baked goods baked every day make this an ideal stop on a chilly winter’s morning before work. But they serve lunch and dessert, as well.  It is a must-taste if you are in New Church.

Pitts Neck, or Pitts Neck Farm, is a notable home situated near New Church. It’s a two-story, brick main building linked to a 1 1/2-story, two-bay frame wing which days back to the beginning of the 18th century. The central block was built about 25–30 years after the wing. The main block is topped by a shallow gable roof and a molded brick doorway. The area is full of stunning historic buildings like this and locals have gone to great lengths to maintain their history and traditions. The farm is an amazing spot to check out when the weather is nice so that you can walk around and check out the grounds, as well.
